Does language change the service?
No. Choose Korean Postpartum Care or Certified Postpartum Doula Care independently of Korean or English. Language changes retain your service selection.
What is included in Doula Care?
Non-medical education, emotional support and practical newborn care, within the agreed scope. It is not medical treatment, general housekeeping or a 24-hour guarantee. Meal scope and provider qualifications must be confirmed.
Can I book Doula Mixed Care at a fixed rate?
You can request a consultation. Your individual quote reflects the actual care dates, time bands and blocks. Contract and payment are not confirmed before quote acceptance and the required review.
What care options are offered?+
Korean Postpartum Care and Certified Postpartum Doula Care both offer Day 4-hour care, Day 8-hour, Night 10-hour and Mixed 12-hour A/B care.
How are the duration and actual care dates determined?
Both Korean Postpartum Care and Certified Postpartum Doula Care offer Day 4-hour care from a preferred start date and a minimum of two weeks in one-week increments, with either 09:00–13:00 or 13:00–17:00. For 8-, 10- and 12-hour care, choose a preferred start date and at least two weeks in one-week increments. Actual care and rest dates are confirmed in your individual quote.
Is night care limited to Thursdays?+
No. For both Korean Postpartum Care and Certified Postpartum Doula Care, choose a preferred start date and at least two weeks in one-week increments, without selecting weekdays. Actual care and rest dates are confirmed in your individual quote.
Is Mixed Care around-the-clock care?+
No. Both schedules contain 12 working hours a day. The remaining hours are off duty. Designate a family caregiver for those periods; additional support can be discussed.
Can we add meals for a spouse?+
Spouse meals are an optional extra. We confirm the care dates, number of meals and cost in your quote. Meals are not offered with overnight-only care.
Does the caregiver provide massage?+
Massage is a professional-referral option. Hands-on treatment is not included in WithMom’s standard caregiver service.
Does an inquiry confirm my booking?+
No. An inquiry starts a consultation. Your quote, agreement and assignment must be confirmed separately.
What areas can I ask about?+
We take inquiries focused on Bergen and Hudson counties in New Jersey and Queens in New York. Availability depends on your address and schedule.
When will I receive a price?+
We prepare a personalized quote after reviewing the care type, duration, frequency and options. Care fees are generally due in full one month before care begins; your payment dates are confirmed separately.
Can I use an employer benefit?+
Check whether your or your spouse’s plan covers outside in-home care. Provider credentials and service eligibility vary. WithMom does not guarantee approval or reimbursement.
