Plan daytime and overnight postpartum support
Understand daytime, overnight A/B and combined schedules, actual care days and off-duty coverage.
Start with the hours your family needs help
Compare daytime and overnight support using actual care dates, rest days and the agreed scope. The director confirms the first care day with you using the actual birth and discharge dates.
| Service | Hours to discuss |
|---|---|
| Korean Postpartum Care | Day 4 or 8 hours · Night 10 hours · Mixed A/B 12 working hours |
| Certified Postpartum Doula Care | Day 5 or 8 hours · Night A: 8 hours, 10 p.m.–6 a.m. · Night B: 10 hours, 9 p.m.–7 a.m. |
When you need both day and night care
Combined doula care uses two different caregivers. Day + Night A is 8 + 8 hours, 16 hours total. Day + Night B is 8 + 10 hours, 18 hours total. The quote and each payment-stage invoice combine day and night care.
A Korean mixed schedule has 12 working hours and is a different arrangement. Neither arrangement means continuous 24-hour availability. Confirm coverage during breaks and off-duty hours.
Before you agree to a schedule
Review start and end times, actual care days, caregiver assignments and meal scope in your quote. All support is non-medical; medical diagnosis, treatment and clinical lactation care are outside the service.
